Hello Every Viewer,
Is there any legal or illegal way to use forms created in Form 3.0 and once used in forms 6i and then again wanted to use them in forms 3.0.
thanx

Migration from Forms 3.0 to 6i does not go that straight - you'll need Forms 4.5 in between. Therefore, I *doubt* that backward compatibility works straight either.

By the way, could you explain the way you'd like to run 6i form as 3.0? How? Copy the .FRM file to your old system and run it "as is"? Or copy .INP file and use IAG to generate the .FRM?

@OP

If you want to have an application that runs in a Forms 3 environment and in a Forms 6 environment then you will need to maintain two copies of the application. You will have to perform the same maintenance activities to both systems. Remember that the levels of PL/SQL are different and the levels of database to which they can communicate are also different.
