When a new user logs into the application the first time the password change screen pops up. But if we expire the users password in the profile password_lifetime we do not get the pop up screen to put the new password. We tried calling this screen from the ON-LOGON Trigger but it does come up and the confirm password field is disabled.

We are using Oracle 8i database and Forms 6.0.5 Has anybody encountered this problem and how did they solve it.

Have a look at this link http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/153270/67467/?srch=expire+user+password+oracle#msg_153270

Also google 'expire user password oracle' there are quite a few hints there.
