Dear All
I have a block with 20 records displayed. When I scroll downwards using down arrow key,the text in the text item is automatically selected , but ONLY upto 20 records. After record no 20 the cursor moves to the first character in the text item.

I need to select the text automatically in the text item, using UP and DOWN arrow keys. pleae guide me.........thanks

Are you using default Forms functionality or are you writing your own select?

If the block is Tabular block then automatically it will go the next record.
It is default functionality.
Check your code.

Dear.. As a default functionality it goes to the next record by pressing Down Arrow key. But it does not select the whole text there.
I need the text to be selected automatically at next record.

What code do you have in the When-New-Record-Instance or When-New-Item-Instance triggers?
