Hi,
Utilities, functions for exporting to word,excel proper formatting.
Requirement:
1. Forms data to Excel with column format, gen. new sheets , save as *.xls.
2. Data output as preprinted in word, pdf format.
3. Server configurations required, classes to load?

System
AS Server on Windows/Unix
DB Server on Windows/Unix
Forms 10g rel1,2, Forms 9i rel1.

Look at OLE2 in WebUtil on http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/webutil/webutil.htm

Oracle Reports will produce PDF output. Search this forum for 'web.show_document' for examples. To output real word documents I suggest using the word mail merge facility for form letters based on a MS Word document. Search this forum for 'mail merge'.

The server configuration should be in the AS installation documentation.
