i installed oracle database 8i and i am installing oracle developer 6i ,, i just wanna know where to specify the location path of the decveloper home at the first step of installation ,such that its by default specefied at the database home..should i specify it in defferent directory ?
so where to install it exactly ?
plz answer me in detail

Although it is possible to install different products into the same directory, I prefer putting each of them into their own home.

I recommend STRONGLY that each Oracle home goes into a different directory.
