Forms 6i is an old version of Forms. The current version is 9i/10g. Is this for a course or for private study? If a course, then work with another student, get a copy of their installation files, and get them to help you put it on your machine. If for self study, then download Database 10g XE, install it, download Forms 10g, install Reports, then Forms. Read the 'README' files, read the Installation White Paper that is included in the download, make your modifications, search this forum for 'ifile' to learn how to make your tnsnaems.ora files match each other (there is one in the database directory and another in the Forms/Reports directory - they have to be identical), then come back to us with your problems. We'll still be here.

David

PS the software is free until you start selling your application, and even then it may still be free.
