Hi, all
I got another problem while data validation.
How can I get a value in one form?
v_gov_inst_code_transfer := v_gov_inst_code;
I assigned a value to the variable in the form.
out of the form, value of v_gov_inst_code_transfer is none!!!
How can I solve it?

Hi,
I am waiting for the solution.
I am catching an exception, then the value of variable is becoming to null instead of the value in the form.
could not solve this until now.

Can you be more specific? So far I've got this:
- you have a problem in a Form -> message moved to Forms forum
- you are assigning a value to a variable in a program unit
- you are catching an exception
- the variable doesn't have the value you wanted it to be
Can you answer these questions:
- what exception are we talking about?
- does the exception occur before the assignment of the variable?
- is the variable locally defined within the program unit?
