Hi,

can any one tell me how can i copy the date from the Microsoft date picker control at run time..
I have made an OCX item and then inserted the MS date picker control in layout editor and then run the form
now I want to copy the value of OCX item showing the date to another text item..
can any one tell me how can I achieve this..???

No idea ... search this forum for 'OCX' and 'date picker'. I would suggest using the Oracle Calendar code which you can find under the Forms Sample Applications on OTN.

i have that other calender control but i want to use ths too..

Hmm, you must have searched really hard: Here you find an example.

It might not be perfect, but it should give you some clue.

i succesfully worked out your method and calendar control from the link but that calender is from 1900 to 2099..
I have data whose dates are before 1900


any ways, i tried my own mehthod of calling saving date from the calendar control to a text item.(it is wothout using MSCAL.OCX) about which i mentioned inmy original question)

I have reached to a point where the Programme Units are also compiled but the code on when button pressed trigger for calling the date from calendar is not compiling..

i have attached that form..
if you or any one can just download it and sort out the problem then i would be grateful..
